football (ladygrove team)

We've played 3 lost 3 our latest defeat was 4-1 against top of the table, Whitchurch school.
Despite losing we were the better team.
The team worked really hard and a midfielder sam fisher scored a brilliant goal from the halfway line.
We will never lose spirit and hopefully in our next game we will win.
Come on Ladygrove.

This week there has been heavy rain which has caused a giant puddle in the playground. We have had some trouble when a year 6's ball went into the puddle during P.E. After school club benefited by having a boat race in the puddle or stream as some people know it. It has all gone now but we would just like to remind you that if it happens again remember your wellie boots!!!

Going for goals

Our assembley theme this term is "Going for Goals" it is all about your dreams and hobbies you want to improve at .

We started off the term theme by thinking of jobs that you would have to plan ahead for like Doctors because they have to plan appointments .

Mr Burrows also handed out the class 15's swimming cetificates; some of us swam more than 100 metres and some of us set goals to swim further.

The last assembly we had Mrs Li-Koo; she did it about dreams that we had and Miss Bolton was a very good scribe.

Here are some pics of our assembly board:
